It's the little things....

One of my favorite things on Christmas morning is coming downstairs to see the stockings full of fun goodies hanging by the fireplace.

Stocking Stuffer Gift Guide
Rollerball - "Live Colorfully" by Kate Spade | Mascara - Maybelline | Lipstick - Burt's Bees | Bath Bomb - LUSH | Nail Polish - "Party on a Platform" by Essie | Candle - Bath and Body Works | Baked Highlighter - E.L.F.

I'm always so excited to see what fun treats are inside my stocking on Christmas morning, and both my mom (yes she still sends me a Christmas stocking with our gifts - isn't she fabulous?) and my husband are great at finding the perfect items to wrap in "Santa paper" aside from holiday candy.

Rollerballs are a great stocking stuffer, since they're a lower price point than the full perfume bottle and can be kept in your purse for an on the go re-fresh. No surprise here, that I love Kate Spade's Live Colorfully. It even looks festive!

A bold lip is always a good idea, especially around the holidays. I can't get enough of Burt's Bees' new lipsticks which can be found at Target or Macys for only $9 each. The best part is they are 100% natural and provide 8 hours of moisture in the winter dry air.

I have a makeup drawer full of beautiful highlighters, but you can't beat the price of E.L.F.'s baked highlighter that you can pick up at Target. It's so shimmery and beautiful, and surprisingly pigmented for a long lasting affect. While in the makeup aisle at Target or Ulta, you can also pick up my drugstore holy grail mascara. Other than Benefit's They're Real! this is hands down my favorite mascara, as it provides the best length, volume, and long lasting power.

Bath and Body Works has the most amazing 3-wick candles, and their holiday scents have me saying "Yankee Candle who?" Only found during the holiday season, Champagne Toast will bring you right through NYE with hints of glittering champagne, wild berries, and tangerine zest.

Essie nail polishes and LUSH bath bombs are the perfect pampering gifts for an at home spa night. Light your Champagne Toast candle, and pour yourself a glass of wine or the whole bottle and relax.

And who doesn't like the gift of coffee? Daily Starbucks runs are not cheap, but it is fun to treat yourself especially with all their delicious holiday drinks. A gift card peeking out of the top of your stocking is a nice finishing touch.

What are some of your favorite small treats found in your stocking on Christmas morning?

The Fun Stuff - Stocking Stuffers

One of my favorite things I look forward to on Christmas morning are the stocking stuffers. They're fun to buy, fun to wrap in "Santa paper" (red tissue paper), and they're fun to open.

Blogger Blame Purchases Part II

In July, I took the awesome idea from Mia to do a Blogger Blame Purchases post. And now it's time for round 2!
 MAC Flat Out Fabulous Lipstick
Blogger to Blame: Elle and then I got to see Emily rockin' it too at my birthday brunch last month. Such a gorgeous color!
 Kate Spade Square Stud Earrings
Blogger to Blame: Jenn
Kate Spade can do no wrong, and these earrings are too pretty!

 Make Up For Ever Primer
Blogger to blame: Katie
I've been on the hunt for a very long time for a great primer that'll keep my face matte in the Florida heat and humidity. I've found some great ones that caused my face to break out, and then others that just didn't seem to work at all. So, when Katie recommended this primer several times I knew it was time to try it out. So far I'm loving it, and it's the best primer I've tried.
Kate Spade Metro Happy Hour Watch
Blogger to blame: Pamela and Kristina
I wanted this watch as soon as I saw it on the KS website, but once I saw it on Pamela in person and then Kristina was giving away one of these beauties I made it one of my purchases during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale in July. I've been wearing it almost every day since - so pretty!
DryBar Mai Tai Spritzer
Blogger to blame: M from The Sequin Notebook
I was looking for a sea salt spray that wouldn't leave my hair sticky or crunchy, so when M recommended it I knew it needed to be in my next Sephora order. Not only does it leave your hair in air dried beachy waves, but it also leaves my hair soft and touchable. Bonus points for it smelling amazing too - very vanilla-y.
T'eo LUSH Deodorant
Blogger to blame: Amanda
I'm all about products with all natural ingredients, and that's what drew me to this deodorant. Hardworking essential oils are what combat bacteria, and keep you smelling oh so fresh.
Almond Creek Champagne
Blogger to blame: Amanda
I've always loved Wilson's Creek Almond Champagne, but it's only available at certain liquor stores. So, when Amanda posted about a great dup here from Trader Joe's and for half the price I was immediately sold.

Friday Favs

Even though it was a short week for me, I sure am glad to see you Friday!

Favorite Post - recapping my trip to Key West for 4th of July Weekend. I still can't get over how gorgeous the water was at the island we went to on our chartered boat day.
Favorite Mail - It's always a good week when Roxy's Chewy.com order comes in and my latest Rocksbox shipment.
This month Roxy is trying out Sojo's Dog Treats and Nature's Variety Meal Mixers. She loved it when I sprinkled some of the meal mixers on top of her regular food which promotes health and vitality. Great extra treat for my squishy!
Favorite Workout - I was excited to get back to Barre3 this week for a great butt-kicking workout after being on vacation last weekend. I always feel so great after Barre3, and can't wait to go back for more!
...and how cute are those water bottles?
Favorite TV - hello Shark Week! I was not prepared for it to be on so early this year as it's usually in August. So, I've been enjoying my favorite documentaries (ahem and mockumentaries - let's be real here) all week.
Best collaboration ever - Shark Week and LUSH! For a limited time, LUSH is selling Shark Fin Soap (made with softening seaweed, scrubby fine sea salt, and zesty lime oil) with 100% of the proceeds going to organizations that are dedicated to the protection and conservation of sharks. Now you can swim with the sharks and protect them too!

In love with LUSH

I have heard a number of you rave about LUSH for a while now, and had never had the experience of stepping into one of their fabulous stores until my recent trip to Chicago. I was walking to the Hancock Building, and as I was walking by Macy's a LUSH display caught my eye and I turned around and went inside to check it out.

I was immediately in awe of all the pretties and my nose was happy with all the amazing smelling products. Plus, I knew I wasn't walking out of there without one of their famous bath bombs!

I had a complimentary skincare consultation which led me to purchase the Fresh Farmacy Face Soap for my acne prone skin, and of course I picked out a bath bomb to try out in my soaking tub at home. I'm excited to try more of their products the next time I stumble upon one of their fun stores.
