I've got the (navy) blues

Are we really only a week away from Christmas?! Thankfully, I'm finally ready, but I'm still just a little sad that the magic of the season is about to come and go in the blink of an eye. Aside from the day itself, I love everything building up to it. The baking, the Christmas specials, the lights, the parties, and the extra time with family and friends.

But don't mind me... I'm still over here working on re-building my work wardrobe. As I've mentioned before, I hadn't had a dress code for several years so I've slowly been collecting pieces that will work not just for 9-5, but in real life as well. This tie front dress has been perfectly comfy for all day at the office (rocked it last Friday at work), and also for taking Lil' Miss to see Christmas lights over the weekend. Even though I'm drawn to dresses for comfort while sitting at the computer and in meetings all day, I'm a huge fan of pants that don't feel like pants if you know what I mean. I was excited to scoop up these paperbag waist pants, and it's almost not fair that they call themselves pants. I felt like I was in heavenly athleisure all day. Yes please!
