Mondays Call for Coffee and Lipstick

Happy May! One of my favorite months of the year, spring is in full swing and summer vibes are strong. With a work trip in a few weeks and my cruise to Bermuda at the end of the month, I'm looking forward to all the fun that'll be packed into May!

First things first, can we talk about the amazingness that is Nordstrom again?! I continue to be amazed at their impeccable customer service

I purchased this watch during last year's anniversary sale, and have been in love with it ever since. So, I was almost in tears when the little spade at the 12:00 hour came loose and caused the watch hands to get stuck. I called up Nordstrom, and the lady I got on the phone was super apologetic and said she would expedite me a replacement immediately no questions asked. Unfortunately, this color was no longer available so she said I could a pick a new one. In the spirit of all things spring and summer, I chose the lighter turquoise color which features a frozen cocktail at the 5:00 hour instead of the martini glass. Isn't this watch fabulous for our favorite time of year? Nordstrom seriously continues to win all the prizes - LOVE them!

It was another beautiful weekend in the sunshine state, which started off with some girl time and a movie night in a friend's home theater for the Magic Mike sequel on Friday.

The movie was surprisingly better than the 1st one (which was super cheesy), and was pretty hysterical at certain parts. 

Saturday, Pamela and the boys came over for some pool time and Cards Against Humanity. We opened the 6th expansion pack which had some priceless new cards in it.

Afterwards, we grabbed some dinner and hit up a mini golf course for a competitive round of putt-putt where the girls beat the boys by 1 point!

Sunday was time for another beautiful bike ride before walking over to my fav neighbor's for some more pool time.
