Ingredients
Penne pasta
1 tbsp. of butter
1 tbsp. of flour
1 packet of Hidden Valley Ranch seasoning
2 cups of skim milk
1 cup of shredded reduced fat cheddar cheese
Diced up reduced fat or reduced sodium bacon
2 cups of cooked chicken, diced
Directions
Boil pasta for 12 minutes over high or medium high heat, drain and set aside
Cook bacon and chicken, set aside
Melt butter and add flour and stir for 1 minute
Slowly whisk in milk and continue cooking until it thickens
Add ranch and cheese, stir until it melts
Add chicken, bacon, and pasta and combine

ReplyDeleteThis looks really good especially with the addition of bacon lol! I try to cut down on pasta & starches but it's hard to avoid them completely....My weakness is creamy pasta recipes like Chicken Alfredo...
