I was looking for a hearty new crock pot meal, so I tried out this recipe, and tweaked it a little bit to our tastes.
Ingredients
Spaghetti pasta noodles
8 oz. of shredded reduced fat cheddar cheese
1 cup of cooked diced chicken
1 can of 98% fat free cream of chicken soup
1 can of 98% fat free cream of mushroom soup
1 can of petite diced tomatoes
1 4 oz. can of diced chiles
1 4 oz. can of mushroom stems and pieces, drained
1/2 cup of water
1/2 of a small onion, chopped
Pepper to taste
Directions
Boil pasta for 10 minutes on high
Spray the inside of your crock pot with non-stick cooking spray. Add all ingredients including cooked pasta to the crock pot, and cook on low for 3 hours.

ReplyDeleteCrockpots are the best inventions ever- this looks easy and tasty. I've made a dish like this before with rice, but I've never tried it with pasta. Adding it to my list of things to try!
