When You Wish Upon a Star

We're back from a wonderful week aboard the Disney Fantasy, and I am warning you that if you follow me on Instagram that my feed will be vacay overload for the foreseeable future. It was lil' miss' first ever cruise and time out of the country, so I was THAT mom telling her "You're in Mexico! You're in the Cayman Islands!" etc...

Our ship stopped in Cozumel Mexico, Grand Cayman, Falmouth Jamaica, and Castaway Cay which is Disney's private island in the Bahamas. I will come back and recap the ports of call next week, because today I'm going to recap the beautiful ship and all the onboard fun.

*Someone was VERY excited for her 1st cruise and that Minnie greeted her on board*

*Our floating home for the week - Room 5190*

Something unique about Disney's cruise ships is that you have 2 separate bathrooms in each stateroom. One bathroom has a sink and a toilet while the other has another sink and a bathtub. Yes - bathtub not just a stand up shower. Game changer for little ones at bath time. Plus, can we talk about the amazing spa products stocked in the shower as well as a Sea Salt lotion by the sink.

At the sail away party, lil' miss had a dance lesson from a cast member while watching all her favorites dance on stage. We also met up with our friends we were cruising with who have a son that couldn't wait to sail with us.

Dinner on the first night was in Animator's Palate where lil' miss enjoyed her first ever Mickey Ice Cream Bar. She enjoyed it so much, she decided to wear it too. I loved how we rotated to different restaurants each night, but our waiters followed us. We had two amazing waiters who took care of lil' miss and the son of our friends every single night and knew what their favorites were.

Day 2 was a day at sea which I kicked off with a spin class. That class was NO joke, but we felt amazing afterwards and less guilty drinking frozen beverages by the pool.

The adults only pool complete with a mister and a swim up bar, there was also a whole other deck above for adults only with a rain shower pool. It was nice to escape to the serene areas for a drink with my friend while the guys had the kiddos for a bit.

Lace Bathing Suit - Less than $30

You better believe I went on the Aqua Duck water slide which goes around the top of the ship. Forever the big kid standing in line waiting for the water slides.....

*Dinner in the Enchanted Garden*

*She's STILL talking about this moment*

Pom-Pom Cover Up - Less than $20

*Mini golf at sea is serious business*

I of course loved the on board champagne bar called Oooh La La. Who would I be if I didn't order the Moet with a popsicle in it?

*One must order double dessert while on a cruise*

And you can't forget Pirate Night where everyone dresses up, and there's a huge deck party after dinner complete with dancing under the stars and fireworks at sea. Only Disney....

Stay tuned next week where I'll recap our time in Mexico, Grand Cayman, Jamaica, and at Disney's private island in the Bahamas - Castaway Cay where I even did the 5k.

Attitude of Gratitude

I am always super excited to support local businesses and to shop small. Plus we all know my love for barre workouts and fun athleisure pieces.

I first discovered Good Vibez Clothing when they had a pop up shop at Barre in the Park. I immediately gravitated towards their positive messaging, gorgeous pearly white Corkcicle bottles, and comfy grippy socks.

Needless to say, I was pumped to win their recent giveaway for a free Attitude of Gratitude Tank. It pairs perfectly with my grippy socks, and I'll definitely be packing it for my vacation workouts on our cruise and the Castaway Cay 5k while docked in the Bahamas.

**This post was not sponsored. I am just excited to share this fun athleisure and workout brand with you all. Even if you aren't local to Central Florida - all orders from the Good Vibez Clothing Co. ship FREE

Off the Shoulder Bell Sleeves

Hope everyone had a Happy Easter! Lil' Miss was spoiled by the Easter Bunny, and showed everyone who's boss while hunting for Easter eggs. I wonder where she gets that from...

On an affordable fashion note... I tend to gravitate towards sundresses and cocktail dresses for evenings on a cruise, but every once in a while I like to mix it up with a fun top paired with shorts or pants. Especially when it has not one but two fun details to it like off the shoulder and bell sleeves that this $19 find has. Needless to say this beauty is going to be packed in my suitcase to set sail.
