Happy Friday! Even with the short week, today feels glorious doesn't it? Now let's get into this week's favorites!

Favorite Mail ~ I was surprised when a box showed up with some awesome Skinny Girl swag. Loving my new wine stopper, coasters, glass water bottle, and recipe book. Learn more about their Tastemakers program here. So many great goodies for my next girls night!

 

Favorite Purchase ~ I've been wanting to read The Royal We for a while, so when Kaitlin posted that it's only $3.99 I finally pulled the trigger and downloaded it yesterday.

Favorite Pretties ~ Loving my latest Rocksbox shipment, and the Kendra Scott necklace is going to be a keeper!

Favorite ~ Roxy loves when her latest Chewy shipment arrives. This month she is trying Eukanuba Healthy Extras Adult Treats and she's loving them! She gives them 2 paws up!

Relaxing Weekending

I'm very happy to report that I finally had a relaxing weekend, and Tropical Storm Erika ended up losing it's strength thankfully which means we are all safe and sound here in the "sunshine" state. I enjoyed some much-needed couch time, did some shopping, wine tasting, and gave the house a deep cleaning.

The rain ruined my Happy Hour on the patio and in the pool plans on Friday, but that didn't stop me from enjoying more Sparkling Skinny Girl Margarita in my birthday martini glass. Better late than never right? The rest of the evening was spent with competitive games of Super Mario Galaxy 2. Some of those stars are not easy to get....

Saturday, I was up bright and early to head off to Express for their jeans sale and to Target before spending the afternoon in the pool with my new pretty floatie.

Then it was time for some fun in the pool with my new flamingo floatie from Emily. She's absolutely perfect, and I decided to name her Rose (like the champs).

After floating away on Rose for a while, I got ready to go out to the Wine Room to sample wines with a gift card I had gotten from a friend for my birthday. And because wine and cheese - YUM!

On Sunday, I did an outfit shoot downtown before the rain moved in, and was finally able to get some cleaning done around the house and enjoy movies on the couch. Perfection!

Holiday Weekend Favs

It's only appropriate for me to have two sets of favs on this beautiful Friday heading into the long holiday weekend. You can also find me over at Amanda's today while she's honeymooning in fabulous Greece. Head on over and link up your Friday Favorites!

Favorite Mail ~ My latest Rocksbox of course! I'm absolutely in love with that half moon ring, I think I found another keeper!

Favorite lunches ~ Always loving my free yoga workouts twice a week at work on lunch. Nothing is better than getting away from your desk mid-day for some stretching and strength building.

I also enjoyed a fun lunch and learn this week conducted by the editor from Flying magazine. It was neat to learn more about becoming a pilot, and the benefits of being able to fly your own plane. They made the example of "Lunch in Fort Lauderdale? Sure!" Sounds good to me!

Favorite way to unwind ~ I popped open a bottle of the new SkinnyGirl Spicy Lime Margarita that my girl Kerri brought over last weekend and it is delish! It tastes just like the original with a spicy kick! Perfect for relaxing on the patio after a long day.

Favorite purchase(s) ~ I finally "went back to MAC". I've been such a huge fan of Sephora the past several years I forgot how much I love their Studio Fix foundation. I'll still be giving Sephora too much of my money, but I'm officially back on the MAC Studio Fix train.

I'm a little upset I procrastinated over the Kate Spade Surprise Sale, as I was eyeing an adorable polka dot iPad mini case (the iPad mini I got for Christmas is still nakee!). I went back to purchase it finally this morning, and it was of course gone. I guess it'll stay nakee until the next sale *womp womp*.

But.. who can resist Nordstrom's Half Yearly Sale? Not this girl!
