Wanderlust Wednesday ~ Bermuda Cruise Excursions

With my upcoming cruise to Bermuda, I've been thinking about shore excursions and what I'd like to do while docked there for a few days.

Sometimes we just explore the island or hang out at the resort when staying at an all-inclusive, but we've also done a lot of fun excursions all of which I'd highly recommend. I've gone zip-lining in Honduras, snorkeling in the South Pacific, USVI and Aruba, climbed Dunns River Falls, shot down the waterslides at Atlantis in the Bahamas, rode ATV's in Cancun, went river tubing in Dominica, hiked to waterfalls in Fiji, and went parasailing in Key West. So, it's been hard to narrow down what I'd like to experience in Bermuda.

These are the excursions that I'm considering, let me know which one(s) you'd pick:

Catamaran Coral Reef Snorkel - step aboard a catamaran for a trip to the northernmost coral reef in the world. Then you'll receive instruction before snorkeling the undersea paradise.
Crystal Caves Discovery - a guided exploration of Crystal Caves, the most famous of Bermuda's subterranean caverns.
Horseshoe Bay Beach - this world famous beach features crystal blue water and pink sand, definitely a must see while on the island. Because pink sand!
Bonfire on the Beach - an evening spent along Bermuda's coastline complete with live music from a DJ, roasting marshmallows, and complimentary cocktails. I love that the ship will be docked overnight to experience fun nighttime activities.
Bermuda Triangle Nightlife Glass Bottom Cruise - a sunset cruise aboard a glass bottom boat while enjoying the illumination of the floor-lit ocean floor that reveals treasures of the deep.

  12. Having been to Bermuda 3 times now, my suggestions are...Crystal Caves for sure and Horeshoe Bay Beach! Snorkeling in the Bermuda Triangle is pretty awesome too - I tried to find the charter I have used every time from Hamilton, but can't seem to find it... You won't be disappointed with ANY snorkeling in Bermuda. Also get a bus pass! The bus pass is the easiest (and extremely safe) way to get around the island. Enjoy!

  63. Oh wow, so many fun things to choose from! I've done the glass bottom boat, not in Bermuda but a different Caribbean island and it wasn't very interesting or fun. My coworker is from Bermuda and she said the caves are very nice and it's something different. Since you've done snorkeling already, I would choose the bonfire. Especially with the comp drinks, live DJ and smores!

  64. I've never been to Bermuda but it looks so beautiful...just look at the colour of the ocean, it's so blue! I would definitely pick the catamaran trip :) Angharad x
