4th of July Shenanigans

Summer is hands down my favorite time of year, so summer holiday weekends are my absolute favs :)

Thursday we went to a friend's house to celebrate the 4th of July

Friday we relaxed at the house, lounged around the pool, and went out for a date night

Saturday we ran some errands, went swimming *again of course* and I baked stars and stripes cupcakes for a potluck bbq and fireworks display that evening.

Sunday we started painting the stairs, once we're finished I'll post the finished product. We felt that our whole stairway was too bland. So, we decided to paint the railings a dark brown.
