I don't usually post on Saturdays, but this was way too important to not pass along. I'm originally from Connecticut and this hit way too close to home. My friend's nephew goes to that school, but thankfully wasn't at school yesterday. My heart went into my throat when I heard the news and I can't stop thinking about it.
Newtown is such a quaint beautiful little town and it amazes me that something so heinous went down there yesterday. My aunt was married there several years ago and my beautiful friend Heather had her bridal shower and her wedding there. Such a pretty place that has now been rocked by horrendous acts.

On Tuesday, December 18th, there will be a blogger day of silence. We will post the button and that's it. Please try to not post anything else that day if possible.
We are also raising money that will go to an organization in the memory of this tragedy. The organization is calledThe Newtown Family Youth and Family Services. Here is the official description of the support service we are donating to:
