Recharge Weekending

After some great news on Friday and a fun weekend including a fantastic yoga class on Sunday, I'm officially recharged and excited to have my family in town.


Friday was food truck night, so we ventured out in the crappy weather for some heart attack inducing food and  drinks at a local brewery before heading home for the night to watch Suicide Squad. We were excited about the movie, but found the special effects to be seriously lacking.




On Saturday, we took baby girl to her first festival. There was a BBQ Showdown at the zoo with live music, and lots of fun activities. I loved that our ticket to the festival also included entrance to the zoo, so we walked through to check out the animals once we were done eating.








On Sunday, I made my return to the local brewery for Namaste and Drink with one of my fav neighbors. Yoga at the brewery with my spirit animal? Yes please!

    Yoga at Brewery?! That's a new idea!! Love that you got out with Miss Serena and took advantage of the fun activities going on around you! I need to do more of that. Looks like it ended up being a great weekend despite the weather on Friday.

    Your weekends sounds absolutely perfect! Both the food trucks and the BBQ Showdown sound like there was lots of good food to be had! And yes to yoga at a brewery! If you aren't relaxed enough after some yoga, then a beer will definitely do it for you!
