2. I utilized a b-day gift card to snag another item off my wish list. I've been wanting one of the beautiful double rings by Kendra Scott for a while now, and finally picked up the Naomi Double Ring in rose gold/brown pearl.
4. Have you tried the new cold brew at Dunkin' Donuts? I'm wondering if it compares at all to my beloved cold brew at Starbucks (which they totally copied off of). I usually take it with a splash of skim milk and 2 pumps of vanilla or hazelnut which is delish!
5. Am I the only one who's been lost with the Olympics being over? I miss Bob Costas, Simone Biles, Michael Phelps, Usain Bolt, Katie Ledecky, Allyson Felix, Aly Reisman, and the gang! But ummm... they can keep Ryan Lochte, his lies, and his 1990's hair.
I had Rio on my shortlist for international trips before the games, and now all the coverage has fueled my wanderlust to visit even more. Hoping to make it there in 2017 or 2018. Because those views.... those beaches... the culture. Definitely would be an amazing trip!

LOLOLOL @ the 90's hair comment! Lindsay and a few other bloggers rave and rave over that palette. Maybe I will add it to my Christmas or Sephora 20% off time list! It does look gorgeous! I love that new ring you got to! I meant to say something on Wednesday...but your comment ended up in my spam folder. Stupid technology. It happened to two other people's too. Someone told me that the DD cold brew isn't as good. But I think DD regular coffee tastes better that Starbucks coffee. I just happen to like Starbucks specialty drinks more. I am going to get a coconut milk mocha mochiatto on my way in this morning! Hope you have a fabulous weekend!

I've heard that Rio is gorgeous but what they show on TV is like the prettiest part, the rest is kind of run down. I would be curious to know what its like! I'm glad you cashed in on your bday wishlist girl you deserve it. That double ring is GORGEOUS. I never wear rings! I used to!!
ReplyDeleteIt makes me sad that so much of the post-Olympic news was about Lochte, and it almost makes me feel like it was a publicity stunt gone wrong or something. That glow palette is so gorgeous- every time I see someone talk about it I think I convince myself I need it a little bit more :)

ReplyDeleteI tried Starbucks new cold brew, it was good! I haven't tried Dunkin Doughnuts yet. Something else I tried recently from Starbucks was the Tevana Chai Tea Latte. I thought it was pretty good. It kind of had a cinnamon taste to it. I've been trying to explore new options outside of my usual Skinny Caramel Macchiato.
ReplyDeleteis it just me or was 2016's olympics one of the best to watch? i suppose it was because of that amazing bromance going on between usain and andre but this year had amazing performances pretty much by everyone! the only thing that sucked was when that french pole vaulter got booed on the podium; i mean come on, people! oh and that Lochte guy didn't help either and i'm glad that he got dropped by his sponsors.

ReplyDeleteI haven't tried the DD cold brew yet - I bet it's yummy. I only have a 50 percent success rate with Cold Brew at Starbucks, though, they always seem to be out! Boo!
