Fancy Friday Favs

Is it just me or was this the longest week ever?! I don't know if it's because I'm in vacation countdown mode or if it's because I had an event on Tuesday night which made Wednesday feel like it should have been Friday, but man I'm glad it's actually Friday!

1. I'm still loving this skirt that I posted about on Wednesday, such a great dupe of the Express version.


2. Tuesday night, my company hosted their annual awards gala which is a piggy back off the recent Academy Awards. It's a fancy event with a cocktail attire dress code, a red carpet with photographers, and they fly in the nominees from all over the world. It was fun to watch the nominee videos, and the host was funny a la Barney Stinson Neil Patrick Harris.

It was held at a beautiful center downtown, and my favorite part was at the end when confetti cannons went off and covered us all in confetti as a celebration.

*All good awards show hosts take a selfie with the audience Ellen-style!*

And of course... after the awards it's the after party...


3. I was so excited to win Biana's Talaria Flats giveaway, and they arrived this week. Such a great idea, and they're so pretty!

    Gosh, I'm still loving that skirt it looks fabulous, lady! Honestly, this week wasn't too bad for me, I had 2 work from home days but I'm happy for the weekend! You look great in your dress! So cooooool you won the giveaway, I be they will look great on you!

    BTW I had no idea there were so many names for shoes!

    What a cool company to work for, I wish I had gala's/award shows to get all gussied up for. I agree with this being the longest week, I don't have a fun gala to blame, but it's just long. You lucky lady winning giveaways left and right, congrats!! I love the pin with different names for heels, I'm a very prive girl through and through! Have an awesome weekend!!

    The blue body con dress....I LOVE IT! I NEED IT! Also, I wish I could look like that in a crop top (regarding your pinterest finds)...I'm still too much of a wimp to try the trend.
