Cranberry Swing Dress

I've been living in swing dresses this year, and have been especially loving this one from Target that I now have in three colors (cranberry, green stripes and black). It's super comfortable and light weight for the heat of summer, and it fit great before and after the appearance of my growing bump. I just can't stop scooping up all the colors!

Summer Weekending

Another quiet weekend on the books filled with shopping as I have a busy week ahead getting ready for a trip to CT for baby shower #1. I can't wait to see family and old friends! Hair appointment for some fresh highlights and a cut and of course a pedicure for some pretty footsies are in order.

The theme this weekend was workout, pool time, food, shopping, and repeat.....

Saturday started off with coffee and a strawberry frosted donut because it was pink and why not? Then I met up with a few girlfriends for a yummy brunch and to help them get started on their new blog. I can't wait to introduce you all to these fabulous ladies once their blog goes live. Yay for more Orlando blogger ladies!

Other than the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale deals, I scooped up a few other items over the weekend that I can't wait to style.

Happy Friday and kickoff to Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Weekend!

It's officially Christmas in July! I ignored all the great sales over 4th of July weekend in preparation for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and I caved and finally got one of their debit cards so I could get early access to the sale instead of waiting until the 22nd. The card arrived in the mail this week and it's so pretty! I'm so glad they have a debit card option just like my other happy place - Target.

Since I live in Florida, and fall weather doesn't arrive until it's technically winter I don't typically stock up on too many "fall pieces". I only end up wearing boots and sweaters a couple days a year (which I really have zero complaints about), so I tend to invest in more accessories and home decor items at the annual sale. But that doesn't mean I don't have room in my closet for a new pair of TB riding boots...

Hands down my favorite sale of the year, and the closest I get to feeling like Blair and Serena. A girl can dream...

After the first day of the sale, I made a list of my favorite picks and even scooped up a few. I have a feeling I'll be placing more orders throughout the sale because free shipping all the time!

Below, I've listed out the items still on my wishlist that I'm hoping will join the sale. I've been drooling over that double ring for a while now, and would love a cute water bottle that'll keep my beverage cold at barre class.

Florida Living in Boat Shoes

Weekending Catch Up

Well hello Monday, pass me a cup of coffee please! It was refreshing to take a week and re-charge, but now I have two weekendings to catch up on.....

I spent pretty much the entire 4th of July weekend in a bathing suit sans makeup, and it was fabulous! I kicked off the weekend at my fav neighbor's bbq-pool party and made sure to don red, white, and blue. And no that's not an outie poking through ~~yet~~ it's called I haven't removed my circa-2001 belly button ring yet. Keepin' it classy!

The next day, some friends came over and we enjoyed some more grilling and pool time. Their adorable son was mesmerized with the bubbler on the sun shelf, and played with it for hours.

The 4th was also spent pool-hopping between my fav neighbors and our house, and they even whipped up some guava-berry coladas with a mix they brought back from their recent cruise to St. Maarten. Mine is the sad one missing the extra Captain Morgan shooter, but it was still delish!

This past weekend was a relaxing one with my favorite - no plans! I got in some great workouts, did some shopping, and enjoyed lots of sunshine and pool time. We also took a nice walk down by the lake on the riverwalk, and stopped at a cute coffee shop for an iced coffee and an iced green tea latte.

*I even donned my new Sperrys which were perfect for a nice morning walk down by the lake*

Cause Baby You're a Firework

Happy 4th of July weekend! I'm going to fully enjoy myself over the long weekend through next week, and unplug to spend more quality time with friends and family.

I need this dress for the holiday weekend, look how pretty! It's the perfect amount of festive, but can be worn any other time as well.

Shark Week ~ I look forward to the nightly documentaries and every bite! So sad it's almost over until next year.

I'll be spending the majority of the long weekend in the sun at pool parties and bbq's so sun protection is an absolute must. I'll definitely be packing my Scala hat for all the festivities which will give me UPF50+ protection. Practicing safe sun is so important, why not be stylish while doing so?
