Velvet and Mimosas

Another hurricane blew through Central Florida last Wednesday into Thursday, and we were extremely fortunate to not lose power this time. We also had minimal yard debris to clean up. A cozy rainy day without loss of power was good for the soul. On Friday, the sun was shining again so I took Lil' Miss out for a girls day. Best in Show

We bid farewell to October with a date night at a new-to-us restaurant where I found the best Aperol Spritz I've had here in the States. Nothing, and I mean nothing has compared to enjoying one in Italy. I've found some tasty ones here back at home, but finally found a spot that makes them almost as good as in Italy.
