Saturday Please Stay

If only that could come true or at least partly true so that our weekends didn't fly by in the blink of an eye. One of my friends gave me this fun tee for my birthday, and it's officially my new weekend uniform along with any graphic tee talking about brunch or champagne of course.

Knock on Wood

I love shopping my closet, and re-discovering pieces that I forgot I had. I recently fell back in love with this top that I scooped up at F21 a while back (I was wearing it on our honeymoon over 7 years ago if that helps show how old it is), and am having fun breathing new life into it. The wooden detailing on the neckline is my favorite part, and will be a timeless piece in my closet for years to come.

I'll be there in a prosecco

Over Memorial Day Weekend, a bunch of us attended the first ever block party downtown. Live music, food and drink tents, and even face painting for the kiddos or those of us who are still kids at heart. It was the perfect opportunity to break in this fun new top which combines two of my favs - graphic tees and bubbles.

Weekending Glow

I hope everyone had a fabulous Easter weekend with family and friends. The long weekend was much needed, and I enjoyed every second with my little family, a happy hour with Pamela and the boys at our favorite local spot, and Easter dinner with friends.

Spring and summer is hands down my favorite time a year, I just love the longer days and outdoor living. And that sun-kissed glow? Yes please! I was excited to try out the new Marc Jacobs Dew Drops Highlighter which is nice and lightweight, and blends well either into your foundation or directly onto your skin for that summer glow. And the best part is that it's lightly scented with coconuts which transports you right to a tropical beach.

Weekending + Giveaway

Hello there Monday, you sure popped up again fast! Another fabulous weekend in the books, the perfect combo of relaxation and fun gone too quickly.

I'm loving my latest voxbox from Influenster which included two of the new highliners from the Marc Jacobs Beauty collection. I received #41 (Earth)quake and #43 (Brown)ie which are a dark brown and a medium brown respectively. The collection has a range of colors from bold and fun to subtle and neutral. The looks you can create with these crayons are endless! They're great for defining the eye, or smudging to create a more dramatic look for a night out. I love how pigmented they are, and how they'll last up to 12 hours which will take you from day to night.

Scenes from the weekend:

I had to try out the edible cookie dough that Katie posted about last week, and man alive it's dangerous! I had to restrain myself from eating the whole jar over the weekend. I found it at Target, and they also had birthday cake and peanut butter flavors. You're welcome....

Saturday night, we headed to downtown Orlando for the first time in what felt like forever since a friend's brother was in town and wanted to check out Wall Street. The area is closed off from traffic, and once you're admitted you have access to several bars with live music and drink specials, and there are bars in the middle under the stars as well. It tends to be a younger crowd for us old peeps, but we had a great time.

A few weeks ago I mentioned that my mom was finally opening an Etsy shop to showcase all of her wonderful creations. Just to name a few items she's handmade for me over the years ~ me and my cousin's flower girl dresses in our aunt's wedding, my junior prom dress, my wedding veil, Serena's bedding including the crib blanket, sheets, and dust ruffle, the tutu and headband she wore going home from the hospital, a star baby bunting, hand knitted baby hat, booties, and jacket, and the prettiest infinity scarves. She also hand-makes custom tuffet stools which is a labor of love. I'm so excited that she's finally showcasing her talent, and wanted to introduce you all to her newly opened Etsy shop Nana Faith Creations.

Florida Living in Boat Shoes

One of my favorite things about living in Florida are all the lakes, theme parks, and fun boat days. I knew I needed a good pair of shoes for walking other than sandals or sneakers, so I decided to pick up a cute pair of boat shoes.

That Summer Glow

I'm all about that beautiful glow, especially in the summertime and who doesn't want a little help for that extra sunkissed look?

Marc Jacobs Beauty Glow Stick

This product glides on easily with one swipe, but it can also be applied with a brush. I used the glow stick on my cheekbones and my fingers to blend it in which created an instant dewy look perfect for a night out dining under the stars.
