Camo Stars

Flowy long sleeve tops paired with shorts or skirts is my favorite kind of weather. Although, I don't complain too much about the Florida heat because I love being in the pool or at the beach and I will never forget the harsh winters from growing up in New England - I do enjoy being outside without sweating and of course patio weather! Time for Fall + A Giveaway

Summer Favorites

Happy Friday! I couldn't be more excited that summer is officially here, and I'll most likely be found in the pool or at the beach for the foreseeable future every weekend.

1. Since I live outside this time of year, practicing safe sun is super important. I've been applying Supergoop's new whipped sunscreen mousse while floating around the pool. It's been a nice change from the sprays which I felt wound up more in the air than on my skin.

2. I live in or by the water for at least half the year here in the sunshine state, so a good pair of sandals that can also get wet are key. 4. I was excited to be chosen for Influenster's Revitalift challenge. I'm really starting to notice wrinkles and fine lines around my eyes and mouth especially when smiling, so I'm always in the market to try something new that'll help reduce the aging process. 5. It takes me forever to get through books these days, but I finally finished The American Heiress which promised to help with my Downton Abbey withdrawals. It started off a little slow for me, but I'm so glad I gave it a second chance because then it was a page turner. It was wrapped up rather quickly in the end, but now I'm just hoping it'll be made into a movie. The last thing Hollywood needs is another remake or sequel.

Hello Monday

Well hello Monday, we meet again! This weekend was the perfect mix of fun and relaxation which kicked off with a happy hour with Pamela for our favorite 2 for 1 margaritas.

Saturday was a quiet day with a good workout, errands, and a cozy movie night. I still hadn't seen The Walk, and parts of the movie caused me to feel like I couldn't breathe! Such an amazing story!

Sunday was a gorgeous day, so we decided to go get coffee and take lil' miss for a walk down by the lake. I tried out the King Cake Latte which was delish!

I also saw that the ever so beautiful adidas Superstar Sneaker in metallic were back in stock at Nordstrom, and finally pulled the trigger. Plus I cashed in my triple points day for Nordstrom Rewards - win win!
