Dear Santa

We are in the final countdown to Christmas - how crazy is that? I'm just excited that I was able to break out these blue beauties for some outdoor bubbles because I know I'll be in PJ's and athleisure for the foreseeable future. Which I'm also not upset about. Let's embrace the good right now - we are fortunate enough to have our health during a pandemic, our jobs in an economic downturn, and so much to be thankful for. Oh and definitely enjoying the extra time at home which has brought our little family closer, and we have gotten to SO many projects that never would have happened with the hustle and bustle of what used to be normal. Rushing out the door every morning and wearing a bra is for the birds! Am I right?

Even if we are a long way out from getting dressed up for a real life big event, a girl can dream can't she? A fabulous pair of heels, actually wearing makeup, and a beautiful statement ring which is less that $13 - yes please!

For now, I say let's put on some fun pieces, light the fire pit or your favorite candle, and enjoy some cocktails on the patio. And that's not to say that I don't love all these cozy evenings on the couch watching Netflix. So, this is my letter to Santa circa 2020.

It's all in the stuffing

Is this really the last Monday of a full week for the year? We made it! Although it's super hard to believe, it's such a great feeling to know we will have precious time with family and friends in the coming weeks. We went for dinner and drinks on the lake before taking Lil' Miss to see some Christmas lights over the weekend, and she was living her best life! I'm not sure what she was more excited about having her own mini cheese pizza or running free through all the light displays.

Dress {on sale for only $12} | Ankle Booties | Bag

I don't know about you, but the stocking is one of my favorite things to open on Christmas morning! All the fun little goodies packed inside like beauty minis. Some of my favorite minis are Mini MAC lipsticks for only $10 and this primer that works better than some of my tried and true prestige bands. This mascara has also been a favorite of mine lately especially because it has clean ingredients. HUGE win win!

I am a huge fan of re-usable items, and these straws will save a ton of plastic over time. Tis the season for germs, and I've been running Health Shield in my diffuser which is a great affordable dupe for Thieves. Ornaments and jewelry are always a good idea like this bridge ring and these fun earrings

And if you've been around here long enough, you already know that I'm a sucker for anything with bubbles. This book is on my list, and prosecco pong officially the new beer pong. At least it feels classier, right? And if you're heading out for a night of bubbles, this glitter bag will go perfect with any look.

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care

Tired of the over abundance of gift guides yet? Yeah, me too... so I like to think of this as more of a round up of my favorite fun pieces to find wrapped in "Santa Paper" in my stocking on Christmas morning. Feel free to play along!

If you're not totally over all the gift guides, I also rounded up some holiday party fashion here and what was in my letter to Santa here. Happy Shopping! Fa la la la la la la la LA!

Believe it or not, it does get pretty chilly this time of year and sometimes even downright cold in the sunshine state as we head into winter and this beanie is too darling to pass up.

A classic pair of black studs go with any outfit whether dressy or cozy athleisure, and they'll never go out of style.

Lipstick to go? Yes please! How darling are these MAC Minis that fit in even the smallest clutch for a night out.

Traveling is hands down my favorite pastime, and getting there should be half the fun! Start out with a chic passport holder, stay hydrated on the plane with this cute insulated travel bottle, and restore your skin once you get to the hotel with these $5 eye masks.

Going to a party? This glittery coaster set make the perfect hostess gift!

A cute idea to have sticking out of the top of the stocking is to pick up the mini bottles of La Marca Prosecco (found at Target or liquor stores), and tie a straw to them for instant bubbles. Santa does get me!
Treating someone to their morning cup of coffee is always a great idea, and Starbucks gift cards can be easily loaded onto their app to use towards collecting more coveted gold stars.

Inspiration at it's finest

Every year I say I'm going to get a head start on Christmas gifts shopping, and it almost never happens. I'm proud to say that this year was different, and I began picking up things for family and friends here and there back in August which has been a huge help. Sometimes I'm stuck though, and am looking for a unique gift for H or family or that perfect gift for a swap at work or a friend's party. So, I love that Uncomoongoods is a one-stop shop for finding the perfect gift for those on your list who seem to already have everything or for an outside of the box hostess gift idea. The unique options are endless in their Gifts for Women section, and I may need to pick up a few items for myself as well!

Spa and Relaxation

Who doesn't like to relax with a glass of wine in a pampering bath? I can't get over the wine and chocolate soaps and those silicone wine glasses are perfect for bringing into the bath so you don't have to worry about broken glass. You can find an array of spa and relaxation gift ideas here.

The Hostess with the Mostess

I'm always on the hunt for gift ideas outside the typical bottle of wine, and these fun items are perfect for hostess gifts. With so many parties coming up, it'll be great to have some fresh ideas on what to bring the hostess with the mostess as a thank you for having us over.

Gifts for Him

The hardest person on your list to buy for - whether it's your dad, significant other, or brother the fellas are usually the hardest to find the right gift for since men typically just buy whatever they need or want. "Manly" skincare sets, fun grilling tools, or a blueprint of their favorite team's stadium are all outside the box of what I'd typically think of and would be perfect gifts for the men in our lives. My husband would love those nautical whiskey stones for the bar cart, and a beer flight set that keeps your beers chilled? Genius!

Where do you usually need inspiration for holiday gifts?
