Barre3 in the Park

Hello Monday, I'm going to show you who's boss with multiple cups of coffee today because this girl is still sore from the wonderful Barre3 in the Park event over the weekend. It had been a while since I did a Barre3 class, and I felt like I was cheating on my Bar Method babes. (You can find my comparison of Barre3 and The Bar Method here.) Those Barre3 signature finale holds will get me every time!

It was a Lululemon and Zella clad day with plenty of sunshine, and the perfect way to celebrate Earth Day. Pamela and I arrived bright and early to check in, and claim our spot on the grass with our yoga mats. The music was bumping, and there were several vendors who came out for the event ranging from athleisure gear to organic juice bars and some fun raffles. Lots of shaking and quaking which was a great kickoff to the weekend ahead.

But First Barre... then Coffee

It's no secret that I'm hooked on barre classes (you can find my comparison of Barre3 and Bar Method here), and I also have a strong love for fun graphic tees. Throw in my love for coffee, and I'm sold!

Keeping up with barre throughout my pregnancy has been an amazing experience. But let me tell you dragging myself to class during the 1st trimester nausea and exhaustion was no joke! However, once I was there I was so glad I forced myself, and I always felt so much better once class was over. I truly believe that staying fit and active has helped me keep a lot of symptoms away (or minimal) such as swelling, back pain, and trouble sleeping. And cute workout clothes make it even more fun to get motivated and get to class.

Staycation never felt so good

Even though I'm on a much-needed vacay from work until next week, the struggle that is the Christmas "hangover" is for real. I can't believe all the excitement has come and gone, but am looking forward to New Year's Eve festivities later this week. If you follow me on instagram (@greenfashionista) or snapchat (@greenfashonista) you may have already seen most of these festive pics.
December was such a busy month with so much excitement, but I can't believe it's all over! I kicked off my holiday stay-cation on Christmas Eve-Eve with one last Bar Method workout before Christmas, wrapping of the last few presents, and one more batch of creme de menthe cookies
There was also a late night FedEx delivery from my aunt with a framed picture of my grandparents when they were waiving goodbye at their wedding to leave for their honeymoon. Before opening anything else later that weekend I already knew this was hands down my favorite gift. I miss them beyond words!
It felt amazing to sleep in on Christmas Eve and get ready to visit with my fav neighbors before going to my in-laws for dinner, skyping with my sister and brother in-law in CT, and an extra competitive game night during dessert.
Christmas Day, I came down the stairs to see the cutest little minion peaking out of my stocking on the fireplace. Then it was time for brunch and mimosas while opening gifts and skyping with my parents and brother in CT.

On Saturday, I met up with Pamela at our favorite Mexican place for some margaritas before having a beer flight and playing some corn hole at the new brewery across the parking lot. How cute are those paddle boards that they serve the flights in?
Then it was time to go enjoy a fun game night at Emily and K's which included quality time with the adorable Miss Lola. I never pass up an opportunity to love on a bulldog pupper! Emily also sent us home with some Christmas treats including the new CAH expansion pack, a festive votive holder, and a super pretty scarf which was so sweet of her.

Sensing a fun theme here...

Happy December! 2015 has completely flown by, but I'm super excited for all the fun events and holiday parties leading up to Christmas and New Year's Eve. To kick off the most festive month of the year, I wanted to share what's on my wish list.
Christmas Wish List 2015

Cards Against Humanity Expansion Pack - Always a riot on game night, it's definitely time for the expansion pack for new laughs.
Kate Spade Happy Hour Coaster Set - Gorgeous set of gold glittery coasters that'll make any drink look fancier.
Kate Spade Cheers Wine Tote - Such a cute tote to go along with a bottle of wine or champs hostess gift.
Kate Spade Champagne at Midnight Metro Watch - Ever since Emily posted about this gorgeous watch a few weeks ago I knew it was going to be at the heart of my Christmas wish list. It's combining three of my favs: Kate Spade, champagne, and a soft pink hue.
Sephora Gift Cards - You can't go wrong with a gift card to one of my most-frequented stores with all of my favorite beauty finds.
Kate Spade Larabee Dot Decanter - I'm working on decorating a bar cart for the dining room, and this decanter would be a great centerpiece.
Kate Spade Gold Dot iPad Mini Hardcase - I got an iPad Mini2 last year for Christmas, and have been extremely lucky that it hasn't gotten damaged all this time without a folio case. This one is too pretty!
Jeter Unfiltered - I've enjoyed Mariano Rivera's book (The Closer), so I'm sure I'll love a book by the Captain as well. Re2pect!
Mindy Kaling's Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me - Another great read I've heard nothing but amazing things about. It'll be a great plane read for upcoming travel.
Barre3 - I've asked for some tanks for class, gift cards towards classes, and a core ball I can use for at home workouts.

I'm sensing a theme with Kate Spade, they are seriously winning all the prizes this year with fabulous accessories and home decor. I sure hope H took the hint yesterday to take advantage of the 30% off + free shipping Cyber Monday deal.

Smile It's Friday

Happy Friday! Our last weekend before turkey day, and I'm still trying to finalize my menu for the big day. What I do know is that there will be mimosas, sangria, and pumpkin cheesecake... you know the important stuff.
1. My Disney annual pass expired a few months ago, so I didn't get the chance to meet the fabulous Kristen when she met the other Orlando gals at Epcot. But we made up for it with a delicious dinner blate at Yard House.
2. Barre3 is running a special now through Wednesday that if you bring in 3 canned goods, you can enjoy a free class. If you've never tried Barre3, you can read my full review of Barre3 vs. Bar Method here. Round up some canned goods and go get your "turkey burn" on!
3. The Royals are back! I still love how this show reminds me of a cross between Tyrant and Gossip Girl.
4. Don't forget to enter the $325 Nordstrom giveaway celebrating Pamela's blogiversary. You can enter this fabulous giveaway here.
