The Gang's All Here
I mentioned the other day the annual Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is not my favorite (I know I know - you can go ahead and revoke my blogger card right now!). I actually prefer their Half Yearly Sale, because I don't feel sick of it before it even begins and wear warm weather pieces 90% of the year. But outside of our "blog bubble" most of my family and friends haven't even heard of the NSale. So, we're the lucky ones who are exhausted just thinking about it before it even begins. However, there are many great items on sale that you can enjoy now, are classic pieces, are closet staples for years to come, and great affordable basics. I've included lots of wearable and affordable items below, and I even included some toddler pieces I'm eyeing for Lil' Miss like these adorable boots. Everything I've listed below is under $100 with the exception of 1 pair of boots and a Tory Burch bag because they are a huge closet staples and you'll save hundreds of dollars on them if you decide to pull the trigger.
In past years, I've picked up a gorgeous royal blue Michael Kors raincoat, Marc Jacobs sunglasses (which Nordstrom has kindly replaced not once but TWICE), Kate Spade earrings, Vince Camuto ankle booties, basic tees like this one for only $11, and lots of gifts for others at great prices that I still use regularly. Be on the lookout for those staple items and classic pieces that you can snag at a great discount.
Because 2020 has been extra special and unique, we've all been living in athleisure and PJ's for the most part (which I'm not mad about) so I included lots of cozy pieces for around the house. This pajama set looks dreamy, a warm pair of slippers are always a great idea, and I can't get enough pairs of joggers which are great for at home, long flights, and trips to Target. A graphic tank that mentions champagne? Yes please! And once the temps drop, I can see myself lounging on the couch with a good book or binging Netflix in this sweatshirt and yoga leggings. And of course I'm adding this Free People top which layers great over a sports bra or a lace bralette.
For those few and far between (these days) wine tastings or brunch with the girls, I have all the heart eyes for this Sam Edelman dress and this BB Dakota dress in a fun bold yellow hue. I'd love to pair them with these peep toe ankle booties.
One of these days, we'll head back to the office... which is always freezing! This cardigan would be perfect to keep on my chair for meetings in cold conference rooms, and so would this cardi in olive green. I'm also loving this plaid blazer and of course this leopard pencil skirt.
Closet staples like this moto jacket, rose gold Tory Burch sunnies, wear anywhere skinny jeans, and a $15 basic tee which is perfect on it's own or layered under a jacket or cardigan in chillier temps.
The NSale isn't just for fashion, there are plenty of beauty items at a great discount as well. My skin loves this Too Faced duo, and who doesn't want a rose gold makeup brush set?
If you're looking for gift ideas or are starting Christmas shopping early - this fun tee is only $22. I've gifted these earrings to several girlfriends, and they're always a hit!
And who doesn't love a good splurge? These boots are 1 of 2 items below that are more than $100, but are $300 off their original price tag. If you've beendrooling eyeing them, now is the time to snag these beauties. If you'd love a good pair of OTK boots, but want to keep the price under $100 - this pair by Steve Madden come in 2 colors and are just as pretty.
