Last, but certainly not least in my San Francisco and wine country recaps is from our last full day which we spent crossing the Golden Gate Bridge again (yay!) going to
Muir Woods and the picturesque town of Sausalito.
Due to the shaded wooded area at Muir Woods, and the bright sun in Sausalito most of pictures are either too dark or too bright. And you know what?
That's ok. As I mentioned when we returned from our trip
here, I have stopped caring about the unattainable which is the perfectly staged photo, and am just enjoying those around me and living in the moment which is
absolutely freeing.
*The redwood trees were absolutely stunning in person*
I kept taking deep breaths, because the air was so fresh and so clean (so fresh and so clean clean - you're welcome for that song in your head now). Pictures, especially my dark and shaded ones will never do this place justice. Absolutely amazing!
Next up, we went into Sausalito for the afternoon where we enjoyed brunch at
Barrel House Tavern which boasted amazing views of the water and the San Francisco skyline.
*Blurry, but one of my favs*
