I've Found a New Favorite

I've had a love affair with Nordstrom as long as I can remember between their fabulous finds, free shipping all the time, and the best customer service around. But somehow I was late to board the BP. train. If you're still looking for some last minute gift ideas, look no farther. So many stylish pieces at fantastic price points, and did I mention free shipping?

BP. Gift Ideas

T-Strap Short Sleeve Tee - this tee looks so flowy and cozy, and I love the t-strap detailing in the front.
58mm Cat Eye Sunglasses - I love the rose gold color of these sunnies, and at only $12 they're super affordable too.
Knit Beanie w/ Faux Fur Pompom - Nothing says warm and cozy like this cute beanie.
Plaid Square Scarf - Currently 50% off! The neutral colors on this scarf would go great with almost any outfit.
Stretch Cotton Moto Leggings - These leggings look so cozy, and I'm obsessed with the distressed look and want to pick up a pair in all 3 colors.
Destroyed Skinny Boyfriend Jeans - It took me a while to accept the boyfriend jeans trend, but it's easier for me to get on board with a skinny version so they look more streamlined and clean.
Faux Leather Drawstring Tote - This cute tote comes in black, cognac, and red. All three colors will complement any wintery look.
Tonal Stripe Foldover Clutch - I've been obsessed with this clutch, and want to collect them all. Each two-toned clutch are perfect for any holiday party. The burgundy and rose gold are my favorites!

The Cold Shoulder

Another one of my favorite trends this year has been the cold shoulder top. With our in-between weather in the sunshine state, it's a great way to add warmth with sleeves but also stay cool. The flowyness of this top keeps it cozy, and I paired it with my favorite faux leather leggings.

Festive Weekending

Another fun and festive weekend has come and gone, and we are less than 2 weeks away from Christmas which is just craziness to me!

I started off Friday with a creme brûlée coffee from Dunkin before heading out that afternoon for a second round of coffee in a beautiful red cup and happy hour at one of my favorite local spots. After a yummy mimosa and buffalo chicken eggrolls, we walked around to the cute little shops and took in the Christmas lights.

Saturday was the Christmas parade downtown, and baby girl was mesmerized by all the pretty lights. The highlight of the parade was seeing the Budweiser Clydesdales. Such beautiful horses!

Sunday, I went down the street to my fav neighbor's for our annual gift wrapping party. We enjoyed brunch complete with mimosas while wrapping the last of our Christmas gifts for family and friends. Girl time with lovely ladies is always good for the soul.

It's the little things....

One of my favorite things on Christmas morning is coming downstairs to see the stockings full of fun goodies hanging by the fireplace.

Stocking Stuffer Gift Guide
Rollerball - "Live Colorfully" by Kate Spade | Mascara - Maybelline | Lipstick - Burt's Bees | Bath Bomb - LUSH | Nail Polish - "Party on a Platform" by Essie | Candle - Bath and Body Works | Baked Highlighter - E.L.F.

I'm always so excited to see what fun treats are inside my stocking on Christmas morning, and both my mom (yes she still sends me a Christmas stocking with our gifts - isn't she fabulous?) and my husband are great at finding the perfect items to wrap in "Santa paper" aside from holiday candy.

Rollerballs are a great stocking stuffer, since they're a lower price point than the full perfume bottle and can be kept in your purse for an on the go re-fresh. No surprise here, that I love Kate Spade's Live Colorfully. It even looks festive!

A bold lip is always a good idea, especially around the holidays. I can't get enough of Burt's Bees' new lipsticks which can be found at Target or Macys for only $9 each. The best part is they are 100% natural and provide 8 hours of moisture in the winter dry air.

I have a makeup drawer full of beautiful highlighters, but you can't beat the price of E.L.F.'s baked highlighter that you can pick up at Target. It's so shimmery and beautiful, and surprisingly pigmented for a long lasting affect. While in the makeup aisle at Target or Ulta, you can also pick up my drugstore holy grail mascara. Other than Benefit's They're Real! this is hands down my favorite mascara, as it provides the best length, volume, and long lasting power.

Bath and Body Works has the most amazing 3-wick candles, and their holiday scents have me saying "Yankee Candle who?" Only found during the holiday season, Champagne Toast will bring you right through NYE with hints of glittering champagne, wild berries, and tangerine zest.

Essie nail polishes and LUSH bath bombs are the perfect pampering gifts for an at home spa night. Light your Champagne Toast candle, and pour yourself a glass of wine or the whole bottle and relax.

And who doesn't like the gift of coffee? Daily Starbucks runs are not cheap, but it is fun to treat yourself especially with all their delicious holiday drinks. A gift card peeking out of the top of your stocking is a nice finishing touch.

What are some of your favorite small treats found in your stocking on Christmas morning?

All Laced Up

One of my favorite trends this year has definitely been lace up tops and dresses. It's such a pretty detail that adds the right amount of flair to an otherwise plain white tee.

Christmas Party Weekending

And just like that, the first weekend of December and our annual Christmas partyhas already come and gone.

I had meant to take advantage of the 50% off sale at Ulta for the UD Naked Smoky palette for gifts, and was so busy preparing for the party I dropped the ball. Butttttt I did end up scoring big at Bath and Body Works during their once a year sale on three wick candles. For one day only, they were $8.50 each, plus I used a $15 off $40 coupon to save even more.

Every year, I spend weeks getting ready for our annual Christmas party between planning the menu, the decor, the invites, cleaning, and setting up it's a work in progress. But it never ceases to amaze me how quickly the big night comes and goes. Always a great time with friends over food, drinks, and lots of laughs.

I was a bad blogger, and didn't take many pics except in the beginning of the food and drink displays.

*Even baby girl was festive and ready to party*

*This year I forwent the punch bowl of eggnog, and made a champagne punch and a holiday sangria*
