30 Before 30

1. Move to Florida

~ Moved down here from up north 3 months after our wedding. Goodbye winter and high cost of living!

2. Buy a house

~ We closed on our beautiful home in the summer of 2011 after watching it being built for a few months. It's still surreal :)

3 Get back into my pre-H shape (the great shape I was in when I met my H)

~ I'm only a few pounds away, but I've lost almost 20 lbs. of what I packed on after getting comfortable in a serious relationship and trading in the gym and spinning classes for takeout and movie nights :-P

I got back into a steady workout routine and am fitting back into clothes I wore when we first met! Whoo hoo!

Not at my heaviest, but about 5 lbs. less on a cruise with friends in August 2011

Back at my happy weight on our 2nd anniversary trip to Jamaica in June 2012

4. Cook a healthy dinner 3 or 4 times a week instead of something quick/frozen.

~ Between my mom's old recipes and Pinterest I have a lot of great dishes on rotation made from scratch with fresh ingredients instead of us eating chicken nuggets or a frozen pizza.

5. Eliminate debt

~ We've made huge strides but still aren't anywhere near where we'd like to be in the debt department. Can I win the lottery please? 0:-)

6. Go ziplining

~ We went ziplining in Honduras on a cruise stop in 2011

7. Go parasailing

~ I went parasailing on my 1st cruise back in 2008, but then went again with H during our trip to Key West for Thanksgiving in 2011.

8. Find a good church

9. TTC

10. Get a dog

~ We have the best doggy! Roxy has been a part of our little family since the summer of 2009 :)

11. Eat healthier

12. Snorkle the South Pacific

Snorkeling on our honeymoon in Fiji

13. Call my grandma and keep in touch with her more (you're not as busy as you think! And it makes her day)

14. Cut my caffeine dependency

~ Unfortunately, having labyrinthitis in 2010 forced me to cut my caffeine habit. I'm now able to enjoy coffee again *YUM* but I no longer depend on it like I used to. I had to have it every morning or else I'd get a terrible headache :(

15. Finally cross the pond and go to Europe

~ Crossed the pond for the first time in the spring of 2014 and went to BarcelonaMarseillePalma de Mallorca, and Lisbon, Portugal.

16. Go to Disney World

~ We went to the Epcot Food & Wine Festival fall of 2012

~ We then got FL resident passes in the spring of 2013 and went to Magic Kingdom twice, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios. I could have easily traded in Hollywood Studios for another day at one of the other parks.

17. Cut back on Sephora purchases

~ So far this year I have been doing great and only re-stocking my every day items.

18. Go on a road trip

~ I've done a cross country road trip out west and H and I have gone up the eastern seaboard a few times since moving to FL from CT.

19. Own a pair of Louboutins

20. Buy my own elliptical for the house

21. Go river tubing with friends

22. Make my own Thanksgiving dinner

~ I made my own Thanksgiving feast from scratch in 2010 and again in 2012

23. Go see the tree in Rockefeller Center at Christmas time

~ We grew up about an hour from the city, and had been to the city many many times, but I never went to see the tree at Christmas time until we were dating and he took me to see it :)

24. Tailgate an NFL game

~ We went to a game back at the old Giants stadium in 2008, but were unable to tailgate since we had to be bused in due to the construction of the new stadium. So, our first official NFL tailgate was when we went to the Buccaneers and Chiefs game in October 2012.

25. Start painting my own nails instead of going to the nail salon

~ I used to suck at doing my own nails so I always went to go get them done. I starting painting them more and more and love all the different colors I've accumulated and how much money I'm saving by doing them myself :)

26. Learn how to curl my own hair

27. Drink more water and cut out soda even diet soda

~ Aside from the occasional morning coffee and my adult beverages on the weekends, all I drink is water. Good ol' fashioned H2O!

28. Practice Safe Sun

~ After having a biopsy done at the dermatologist this past year, I got much more serious about practicing safe sun. Especially with all the tropical vacations we enjoy taking and days at the beach and/or pool now that we live in FL.

29. Learn how to drive a stick shift

30. Go see a movie in a park outside under the stars
